What are the benefits of container storage?

Of course, as regards the timing, the ideal solution is to have the move from the old apartment and the move into the own home go hand in hand. But what if this is not the case? We offer you the solution with our 20' -steel containers for warehousing purposes or interim storage.

The procedure of a removal that involves container storage is the same as a conventional removal with a furniture truck. The only difference is that the completely packed container or interchangeable trunks are removed from the vehicle and stored in our warehouse hall with the aid of a bridge crane. There is no additional loading and unloading of the removal items. You can access your assets at all times.

The mode of loading is similar to that used with a removal abroad. There is the possibility of packing all furniture (bubble wrap clad film, precisely fitting carton fittings). This is recommended, particularly with a storage duration that exceeds 12 months. Our storage containers have ventilation slots. Needless to you, you can also deliver your removal items or storage items yourself.

Storage of the containers

Warehousing in the containers ensues in our insulated warehouse in Griesheim, which is close to Darmstadt. The customer has free access to his container - and thus to his removal items – at all times. An additional service is offered in the mobile container rental on site. Special vehicles bring the container to construction sites, factory premises or train yards. In this regard, the following container sizes are available for rental purposes:

• 10ft (outer dimensions 3.025 x 2.35 x 2.35 m , volumes 16 cbm )
